Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Special Education teaching certification
- Experience with K-7th or 4th-7th grade students preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct classroom instruction and individualized support to students with diverse learning needs
- Develop, update, and implement IEPs in compliance with school and state requirements
- Collaborate effectively with general education teachers, support staff, and parents/guardians
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies to maximize student growth
- Maintain accurate records and provide clear, ongoing communication regarding student achievements and challenges
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
