Position Details:
- First opening supports a caseload of 17 students, grades K–7th.
- Second opening involves teaching 16 students, grades 4th–7th.
- Both positions are full-time and require working closely with school teams to carry out individualized education plans (IEPs).
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification.
- Previous experience teaching students with diverse learning or behavioral needs is highly valued.
- Strong understanding of IEP processes, differentiated instruction, and progress monitoring.
- Passion for collaboration with general education teachers, specialists, and families.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and inclusive practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to individual student needs.
- Deliver engaging instruction across varied academic levels and emotional needs.
- Collaborate regularly with staff, therapists, and families to ensure student success.
- Maintain accurate records, including progress notes and assessments.
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional learning, and other school functions.
