ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher to support high school students in an Adaptive Skills Program in Manassas Park, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting students with significant learning and adaptive needs and be comfortable providing instruction through the VESOL curriculum.
Work Schedule

Qualifications
Active Virginia Teaching License required
Special Education certification/endorsement appropriate for the assignment
Experience working with students in adaptive skills, functional academics, or similar specialized programs preferred
Experience with students receiving instruction through adapted or modified curricula preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
Key Responsibilities
Provide specialized instruction to high school students in the Adaptive Skills Program
Deliver instruction aligned with the VESOL curriculum
Support students in developing academic, functional, communication, social, and adaptive skills
Implement and monitor IEP goals and accommodations
Collaborate with related-service providers, families, administrators, and other educational staff
Maintain accurate student documentation and progress data
Create a structured, supportive, and inclusive learning environment

Pay: $38–45/hour, depending on experience, licensure, and school budget; subject to change
