Multiple contract positions are available, working with caseloads ranging from early childhood through secondary students. You’ll collaborate with dedicated educators and provide individualized supports, developing meaningful connections while helping each student reach their full potential.
Opportunities are available for specialized roles, including:
- Autism support at primary and secondary levels (caseloads of 4-8 students)
- Early Childhood Special Education itinerant responsibilities
- Developmental/Cognitive Disabilities teaching for small-group instruction
- Homebound services to students unable to attend school
- General special education in elementary classrooms (caseloads up to 19)
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Current and valid Minnesota teaching license in Special Education (required)
- Knowledge of ASD, DCD, and related instructional settings
- Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with staff and families
- Ability to adapt instruction and support to individual student goals
- Familiarity with a variety of grade levels and educational settings preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction and support tailored to each student’s IEP
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of progress and compliance
- Engage with families and multi-disciplinary teams
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere
- Adapt to various roles including itinerant and homebound instruction as needed
- Uphold professional standards and ethical practices
These are full-time, on-site contract positions through June 11, 2026, supporting students at elementary, secondary, and specialized program campuses. The workweek is 37.5 hours, providing you with the opportunity to make a significant impact in classrooms and beyond.
