This is a contract position supporting diverse learners as part of a dedicated team through June 11, 2026. Openings span specialized programs focused on Autism Spectrum Disorders, Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE), Developmental Cognitive Disabilities, and homebound services. What you need to bring:

  • Current and valid Minnesota teaching license in Special Education (required)
  • Experience or strong commitment to working with students with ASD, DCD, or complex learning needs
  • Ability to manage varying caseloads (between 4-19 students depending on assignment)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school teams
  • Flexibility and adaptability to serve in settings from resource rooms to homebound service delivery
  • Commitment to on-site instruction (remote options not available)
  • Familiarity with IEP development and compliance

Your key responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized instruction and interventions aligned with IEP goals
  • Create supportive and structured learning environments tailored to each student’s needs
  • Collaborate with general education staff, families, and specialists to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and complete documentation within required timelines
  • Participate actively in meetings, professional development, and multidisciplinary planning
  • Travel to various district sites as needed for itinerant and homebound assignments
