What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Valid Minnesota teaching license for Special Education
- Experience with or willingness to work in specialized settings: Autism (ASD), Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD), Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE)
- Ability to lead caseloads ranging from 4 to 19 students, adapting instruction and support to meet individual needs
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Dedication to fostering inclusive, supportive classroom environments
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in coordination with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Manage and report on casework for assigned students, maintaining accurate documentation
- Adapt teaching strategies and materials to ensure student growth and engagement
- Provide homebound instruction when required, traveling to various locations for service delivery
- Maintain ongoing communication with families, specialists, and school staff
