Two dedicated Special Education Teachers are needed for contract positions serving elementary and middle school students. One teacher will support elementary students in an Autistic Support classroom, while the other will provide Learning Support at the middle school level. Both roles are an exceptional opportunity to make meaningful connections and foster a positive educational experience during the 2026-2027 school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate (active status required; no pending or emergency permits will be accepted)
- Experience or strong interest in either Autistic Support for elementary students or Learning Support for middle school
- Flexibility and commitment to a 35-hour workweek during the academic year
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for helping diverse learners thrive academically and socially
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in alignment with student needs
- Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to fit the varying abilities of students within your assigned classroom
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
- Maintain accurate records and ongoing progress monitoring for students under your care
- Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress and needs
- Create a nurturing, inclusive, and structured learning environment

- 35 hours weekly, with elementary hours from 8:15 am–3:45 pm and secondary hours from 7:15 am–2:45 pm
