Special Education Teacher in Quakertown, PA

What you’ll need:
- Current and active Pennsylvania Teaching Certification (no emergency or pending permits)

- Commitment to a full-time contract schedule (35 hours per week)
Role responsibilities:
- Develop and adapt lesson plans that address both academic and social-emotional growth
- Maintain accurate student records and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with colleagues, therapists, and families to ensure student success
- Deliver instruction in either elementary autistic support or middle school learning support, based on assignment
- Encourage a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment
Expect to work within standard school hours, with elementary running 8:15 a.m.–3:45 p.m. and secondary 7:15 a.m.–2:45 p.m., aligning with the needs of each student group throughout the contract term.
