- Patience, creativity, and adaptability in working with students with a range of learning abilities and backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute lesson plans tailored to individual students’ educational and behavioral goals
- Assess student progress and modify instructional strategies to maximize success
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and other professionals to integrate services
- Maintain accurate documentation on student progress and IEP goals
- Encourage student independence and social-emotional growth
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding progress and strategies for support
