Special Education Teacher - Glendale, Arizona
Make a meaningful impact supporting 7th and 8th grade students as a contract special education teacher or paraprofessional close to Glendale, AZ. In this dynamic opportunity, you'll be key to guiding approximately 24 students using a blend of push-in and pull-out support models at a welcoming middle school environment.
You'll split your time between offering targeted small group instruction outside the general education classroom, and providing assistance within mainstream settings—ensuring that diverse learners have the resources and encouragement to thrive. The school day starts at 7:30 a.m. and wraps up at 2:30 p.m., with expectations for staff to be present on campus thirty minutes before and after instructional hours, as well as actively participating in IEP and MET meetings to support collaborative student planning.
What we’re hoping you bring:
- Experience or credentialing as a special education teacher or paraprofessional
- Familiarity with both push-in and pull-out service delivery models
- Understanding of IEP processes and documentation

Your day-to-day responsibilities:
