Responsibilities:
- Provide behavioral and academic support to 16 seventh-grade students with Emotional Disturbance (ED) eligibility
- Develop and implement positive behavior strategies to reduce avoidance and increase engagement
- Maintain accurate documentation and update IEPs as required
- Foster strong communication with parents and school staff
- Lead and mentor Instructional Assistants, supporting team collaboration
- Build positive, trusting student relationships while managing classroom conduct
Qualifications:
- Valid teaching license with at least a Mild Intervention endorsement
- Experience working with students with behavioral needs is preferred
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication abilities and dependable attendance record
- Collaborative spirit and ability to contribute to a supportive school community
