What we’re looking for:
- Active California mild/moderate education specialist teaching credential (required)
- Experience working in elementary special education settings, especially SDC classrooms
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to nurture inclusive, welcoming learning environments
- Commitment to individualized education and collaborative teamwork
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging instruction and adapt curriculum for diverse learning needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in close cooperation with staff and families
- Foster positive interactions, social-emotional growth, and academic achievement
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals, specialists, and administrative staff to support optimal student outcomes
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation and progress reporting
