What We’re Looking For:
- Valid and active California mild/moderate Education Specialist Instruction Credential is required
- Experience in special education settings, preferably at the elementary level
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs compliant with state and federal regulations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Flexibility, patience, and a genuine passion for helping students thrive
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver specially designed instruction to elementary SDC students in accordance with their IEPs
- Create an inclusive, engaging, and organized classroom environment
- Assess student needs and adapt instructional strategies
- Collaborate with general education teachers, school administrators, and service providers
- Establish positive relationships with students and their families
- Maintain clear documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
