Special Education Teacher - New York, New York

Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification in Special Education

Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver both individual and small group instruction tailored to young learners with diverse needs
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligning with each child’s learning objectives
- Work closely alongside dedicated 1:1 teacher assistants in each classroom to maximize support
- Collaborate with colleagues, therapists, and families to foster a holistic educational experience
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in program development
- Participate actively in school team meetings and contribute to a positive, growth-minded culture
