Key Qualifications:
- Active Special Education Teacher License in Texas
- Demonstrated experience or comfort working with young learners (PreK-1st grade)
- Proven ability to write IEPs and complete progress reports
- Confident in leading ARD meetings and managing a large, diverse caseload
- Strong organization, collaboration, and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Monitor student progress and prepare reports for families and team members
- Guide and supervise six paraprofessionals to ensure effective classroom support
- Regularly participate in ARD meetings and contribute to collaborative team efforts
- Build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
