Qualifications:
- Current and active Special Education Teacher License for Texas.
- Strong background in creating and implementing IEPs.
- Comfortable leading and managing a team, specifically six paraprofessionals.
- Experience working with early elementary-aged children.
- Skilled in hosting ARD meetings and preparing detailed progress reports.
- Demonstrated commitment to student growth, inclusive practices, and ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver individualized instruction tailored to a varied caseload, emphasizing student success and inclusion.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date IEPs, ensuring all documentation meets compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate actively in ARD meetings to shape best outcomes.
- Lead, coach, and support paraprofessionals in daily classroom activities and specialized interventions.
- Monitor and communicate student progress through regular reports and family engagement.
- Foster a positive and engaging classroom environment for PreK–1st grade students.
