Role Responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead teacher for a classroom with approximately eight students on IEPs, offering individualized instruction in a supportive environment
- Provide targeted academic interventions for up to ten additional students who require extra support to meet learning benchmarks
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster each student's growth and potential
- Develop and maintain accurate student records, ensuring compliance with all educational laws and policies related to special education
- Participate actively in team meetings, IEP conferences, and professional development activities
- Adapt instructional strategies to meet the varied learning styles and needs within your classroom
This position offers a regular schedule, Monday through Friday, from 8:00am–3:15pm, allowing you to develop strong connections with your students while also maintaining work-life balance.
