Key Qualifications:
- Active California Education Specialist credential, suitable for working with ESN caseloads
- Demonstrated experience supporting students with autism, intellectual disabilities, and/or Down syndrome
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and related legal requirements
- Effective communication skills with students, families, and team members
- Adaptability in virtual and in-person instructional formats
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging, individualized lesson plans tailored to each student’s abilities and needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess, monitor, and document student progress
- Implement a variety of instructional strategies, accommodations, and modifications
- Participate in IEP meetings, ensuring compliance and advocacy for student success
- Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages growth and confidence
- Engage in limited on-site instruction and assessments at the learning center as needed
