This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to support a self-inclusion classroom, working closely with a caseload of 10 students per class. You’ll work onsite at one school location for the full 26/27 school year, from August 19th to June 4th.
What You’ll Bring:
- Valid LBS-1 Certification in Special Education
- Experience and enthusiasm for working with students in self-inclusion classroom environments
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with support staff, general education teachers, and administrators
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational experience for all learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction and accommodations in compliance with IEPs for a diverse group of students
- Develop engaging lesson plans and track student progress
- Provide ongoing support and interventions to help students achieve academic and functional goals
- Maintain accurate records and communication with families and staff
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, staff development, and school-wide initiatives
- Ensure a safe, respectful, and welcoming classroom environment
