Special Education Teacher in Waukegan, IL

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support to a self-inclusion classroom of ten students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and differentiated lessons
- Collaborate regularly with general education teachers and school support staff
- Monitor and report student progress, addressing academic and behavioral goals
- Foster an inclusive, respectful, and engaging classroom culture
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to all state and district regulations
- Attend professional development and relevant staff meetings
