- Ability to complete Florida school district fingerprint clearance (via AHCA Clearinghouse if applicable)
- Strong communication skills to interact with students, staff, and families
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a self-contained ESE classroom, providing instruction and individualized support for students with varying exceptionalities
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Foster a positive, structured environment that encourages each student’s academic and social growth
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student success
- Maintain thorough and accurate student records in compliance with school policies and regulations
