Location: Santa Fe, NM
Position Type: Full-Time, Onsite
Schedule: 37.5 Hours per Week
Pay : Up to $48/hour

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Educational Sign Language Interpreter to provide one-on-one interpreting services for a 3rd-grade elementary student. This full-time, onsite position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by ensuring the student has full access to classroom instruction and school activities.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 sign language interpreting services for a 3rd-grade student throughout the school day.
- Facilitate effective communication between the student, teachers, staff, and peers.
- Interpret classroom instruction, school activities, and other educational interactions.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional interpreting standards.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers to support student success.
- Promote the student's independence and access to the educational environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3.5 EIPA (Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment) score required.
- Knowledge of educational interpreting best practices and professional ethics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary educational team.
