- Proven classroom teaching experience in special education

- Experience in at least one of these areas strongly preferred:
- Autism Spectrum support with ABA-informed strategies, AAC/PECS, sensory regulation, and BIPs
- Multiple Disabilities Support with adapted instruction, communication/life skills, and personal care
- Emotional Support with trauma-informed approaches, de-escalation, and crisis prevention
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, structured instruction within specialized classrooms
- Manage and adapt curriculum for students with unique learning or behavioral needs
- Implement individualized education plans and monitor student progress
- Foster a safe, inclusive environment promoting respect and growth
- Partner effectively with related service providers, paraprofessionals, and caregivers
