What we're looking for:
- Valid AZ Secondary Teaching License and K-12 Special Education Certificate, plus current IVP Fingerprint Card
- Comfortable within a 30-minute commute from prioritized locations
- Demonstrated experience with inclusion, SUCCESS, practical, and structured special education settings
- Practical skills in supporting students with emotional disabilities and students developing prosocial/self-regulatory abilities
- Insight into the needs of at-risk, ethnic, and limited English proficient learners
- Knowledgeful in designing, implementing, and documenting special services that meet federal, state, and district standards
- E.E.E.I. training, or willing to pursue staff development
- Available for full-time onsite work, attending required training sessions in July
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group learning plans tailored to diverse needs
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom culture
- Collaborate closely with support staff, administrators, and families
- Accurately complete required documentation, including IEPs and progress reports
- Leverage evidence-based practices for academic and social-emotional development
- Engage in ongoing professional development and staff training
