Education and Certification:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education or a related field
- Active Virginia Special Education Teaching License required
- Previous elementary or collaborative classroom experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction in a collaborative classroom setting
- Partner with general education teachers to support student learning and inclusion
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Track student progress and maintain compliance with state and federal special education requirements
- Foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for 2nd-grade students
