This onsite role spans the 2026-2027 academic year, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week), serving a diverse caseload of students in grades K-5. The school’s distinctive focus, including Project Lead the Way Launch, provides a creative, dynamic environment for students and educators alike.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota Teaching Certification (Tier 3 or 4 required) – please ensure your certification and current resume are attached for consideration
- Licensure and experience as a Special Education Teacher in elementary settings
- Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs, collaborating with staff and families, and accommodating a range of learning needs
- Commitment to fostering inclusion and supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional development
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide resource support to elementary students in mathematics, science, and children’s engineering programs
- Collaborate with general education teachers and specialists to design and implement effective instructional strategies
- Adapt lessons to meet individual student requirements in both small group and one-on-one settings
- Monitor student progress, track data, and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines
- Communicate regularly with families, related service providers, and other team members to optimize student growth
