Special Education Teacher - Berwyn, IL

The most common disabilities among your students will be Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) and Developmental Delays (DD), allowing you to utilize your specialized knowledge and individualized teaching strategies.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) in Illinois
- LBS1 endorsement required
- Experience supporting students with SLD and DD preferred
- Proven ability to collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver push-in and pull-out instructional services tailored to student needs
- Develop and implement IEPs with measurable, meaningful goals
