Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • LBS1 endorsement required
  • Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher preferred

  • Manage an average caseload of 20 students
  • Deliver both push-in and pull-out special education supports
  • Focus on building reading fluency and comprehension, as well as foundational math skills
  • Collaborate with general education staff and support teams to create inclusive learning environments
  • Most students identified with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) and Developmental Disabilities (DD)
