Qualifications:
- Valid PEL (Professional Educator License) required
- LBS1 (Learning Behavior Specialist I) endorsement required
- Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Familiarity supporting students with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) and Developmental Disabilities (DD)
Responsibilities:
- Serve an average caseload of 20 students
- Deliver both push-in and pull-out instructional supports
- Focus on improving reading fluency, reading comprehension, and foundational math skills
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to students’ academic and behavioral needs
- Foster a supportive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Communicate progress and strategies with general educators, specialists, and families
