Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education
- Background in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong organizational and case management skills
- Experience collaborating with families, general educators, and related service providers
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet individualized student needs
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging special education lessons aligned with student IEPs
- Serve as a case manager, guiding students’ progress and coordinating services
- Conduct assessments and document students’ academic, behavioral, and social growth
- Lead IEP meetings and ensure compliance with all legal and procedural requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, aides, and support staff to create inclusive classroom environments
- Communicate regularly with families about student progress and needs
- Maintain timely and accurate records in accordance with school policy
