Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- LBS1 endorsement mandatory
- Experience supporting students with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) and Developmental Disabilities (DD) preferred
- Skilled in both push-in and pull-out instructional models
- Comfortable managing a caseload averaging around 20 students
- Strong background in reading fluency, reading comprehension, and foundational math instruction
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver differentiated instruction tailored to individual learning needs
- Provide push-in and pull-out services primarily in reading and math settings
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, ensuring compliance and measurable growth
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation on student progress
- Communicate regularly with families to ensure partnership in student success
- Cultivate an encouraging, respectful classroom climate that supports diverse learning styles
