Qualifications:
- Current licensure with the Colorado Department of Education (CDE), or in process; active CDE license or COOL must be submitted with your resume
- At least one year of classroom experience required
- Proven collaborator with a flexible and team-focused attitude
- Background working with special education students, particularly transition-age youth, preferred
Role Highlights:
- Implement individualized education programs (IEPs), write behavior support plans (BSP), and effectively collect and report student data
- Facilitate instruction focused on job readiness and life skills, both on campus and during community experiences
- Manage a caseload of approximately 12 students in a structured, supportive setting
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent application of IEP requirements and best practices
- Engage actively during full-time hours (8 am to 4 pm; 37.5 hours/week with paid and unpaid lunch allocation)
