A part-time contract opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year. The position will begin August 12, 2026, and continue through the end of the academic year, with a flexible part-time schedule to be determined.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Colorado Special Education teaching license, or be eligible for licensure through reciprocity
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged students in special education settings preferred
- Proficient understanding of IDEA and special education compliance requirements
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative abilities to work effectively with families, colleagues, and related service providers
- Excellent communication skills and organizational attention to detail
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized instruction and support services for students with IEPs, focusing on mild to moderate needs
- Implement, monitor, and document progress toward IEP goals in both resource and/or inclusion settings as needed
- Maintain thorough and accurate records, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
- Collaborate seamlessly with district staff, classroom teachers, parents, and outside service providers to ensure holistic student support
- Participate in evaluations, team meetings, and professional development as required
This role is primarily based onsite; however, candidates interested in a hybrid work arrangement may also be considered based on district needs.
