Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience developing and implementing IEPs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Understanding of differentiated instruction and behavior management strategies
- Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive atmosphere
Responsibilities:
- Develop and adapt lesson plans to fit the individualized needs of students
- Lead small group and one-on-one instruction to support academic and social-emotional goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to ensure cohesive support
- Collect and analyze student data to monitor progress and adjust strategies
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with special education regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for student evaluations
