Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education (SPED) license with Physical and Health Disabilities (P/HD) endorsement
  • Experience providing services to K-12 students
  • Ability to conduct functional evaluations, develop IEPs, and monitor student progress
  • Skilled at consulting on curriculum modifications, accessibility, and assistive technology
  • Effective communicator and collaborator with teachers, therapists, and school staff

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver itinerant support for students with physical impairments
  • Consult on accessibility and relevant classroom modifications
  • Manage due process responsibilities, including functional evaluations and IEP implementation
  • Monitor student progress and adjust plans as needed
  • Partner with occupational/physical therapists and classroom teachers to ensure student success
