Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field required.
- Massachusetts certification as a Teacher for Students with Moderate Disabilities preferred; counseling license or equivalent DESE licensure considered.

- Demonstrated background in special education, counseling, psychology, or guidance.
- Strong record of collaboration with diverse students, families, and staff.
- Must be empathetic, resourceful, and culturally responsive.
- Ability to pass drug screening and fingerprint/background checks.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensure strict compliance with state and federal special education regulations.
- Coordinate and facilitate the entire special education process for grades 6–8.
- Serve as a liaison among families, school staff, agency partners, and leadership.
- Prepare, review, and finalize all IEPs for assigned caseloads.
- Attend all required professional development sessions.
