- Second contract beginning August (exact date TBD) through December 18, 2026
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teaching Certification
- Previous experience working in a school-based special education setting
- Ability to adapt instructional methods to meet diverse learning needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive classroom culture
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction, accommodations, and support for students with diverse needs
- Develop, implement, and evaluate IEPs in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Track student progress and maintain thorough documentation
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to promote student success
- Create and maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment
- Actively participate in meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed
