Special Education Teacher - San Bernardino, California

Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid teaching certification with a specialization in Special Education
- Successful background working in K-12 settings
- Demonstrated ability to adapt lessons to individual student needs and learning styles
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to quickly integrate into new classroom environments and maintain structured routines
- Previous experience in covering long-term assignments or maternity leaves preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in accordance with school guidelines
- Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to students with a variety of needs and abilities
- Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and support staff to provide a cohesive educational experience
- Regularly monitor, assess, and document student progress
- Build positive relationships with families and support effective communication
- Maintain a safe, structured classroom environment conducive to learning
