Special Education Teacher - Resource Classroom
Soliant is seeking 2 qualified Special Education Teachers to support Resource classrooms serving students with Mild to Moderate disabilities for the remainder of the 2026–2027 school year.

Position: Special Education Teacher – Resource Classroom

Duration: ASAP - EOY 2026–2027 school year
Setting: Resource Classroom
Student Population: Mild to Moderate disabilities
Caseload: Approximately 28 students, 2 school sites available
Competitive Pay Rate: $45-50/hr, depending on experience
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction to students with Mild to Moderate disabilities in a resource classroom setting.
- Develop and implement individualized instruction based on student academic and educational needs.
- Support students in meeting their IEP goals and accessing the general education curriculum.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation related to IEP goals and services.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, special education staff, administrators, and related service providers.
- Provide accommodations and instructional modifications as appropriate to support student success.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of student goals.
- Maintain a structured, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
- Manage an approximate 28-student caseload effectively.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and appropriate boundaries within the school environment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid California CTC Special Education Credential required.
- Experience working with students with Mild to Moderate disabilities preferred.
- Previous experience in a resource classroom setting preferred.
- Ability to manage an approximate 28-student caseload.
- Strong classroom management, communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to begin the assignment ASAP and work through the end of the school year.
- Ability to work full-time in a school-based setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience teaching in a resource classroom.
- Experience supporting students with Mild to Moderate disabilities.
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring.
- Experience collaborating with general education teachers and multidisciplinary school teams.
- Strong understanding of accommodations, modifications, and differentiated instruction.
